Family Court Orders Psychiatric Assessments Psychological examinations are often activated by the behaviour of moms and dads or in cases where abuse is presumed. If there is extreme conflict in between moms and dads or a kid is being 'alienated', the evaluator will suggest family treatment and/or parenting courses.
